On the 6th, a post titled 'Forced to share a table with a stranger while eating sundae soup alone during lunchtime' was posted on an online community. According to office worker Mr. A, he visited a sundae noodle soup restaurant near his workplace alone around 12:30 p.m., which is the lunch peak hour, and since there were no single seats available, he followed the staff's instructions and took a table for four. The controversy reportedly arose during a meal, when Mr. A was busy mixing rice into the soup rice and continuing his meal, when a group of four customers entered the restaurant. Then, the restaurant owner unilaterally notified Mr. A, saying, "Excuse me, sir, could you move your seat over there?" and immediately took the bowl, spoon, and side dish plate that Mr. A was eating. He moved it away. Without knowing what was happening, the owner followed the owner to a two-person table, where another male customer was already eating alone, but the owner placed Mr. A's soup across from him without asking for prior consent from the existing customer who was still eating, leaving only the words, "It's peak time, so I'll share a table for a bit," before leaving the seat. Mr. A expressed his displeasure, saying, "The person who was eating first looked very annoyed and was so nervous that I didn't even know if the rice would go into my mouth or nose, so I ate roughly and left." Netizens expressed anger, saying, "Taking away a bowl of rice during a meal is not basic courtesy to customers," "What crime have customers who used to eat alone?" "If there are no seats, you should have made group customers wait. Why are you moving the food as if you were driving away the customers who arrived first?"
