On the 24th, President Lee Jae-myung announced plans to consider sanctions, including shutting down the far-right online community 'Ilbe' (Ilgan Best Repository), stating, "There are both claims that freedom of expression should protect social division and conflict through mockery and insults like Ilbe, and that sanctions, including penalties, are necessary." He continued, "There was also controversy over shutting down Ilbe, right?" He pointed out, " It seems necessary to publicly discuss and actually review the need to allow necessary measures such as site closure, punitive damages, and fines that allow sites that allow ridicule and hatred to be ignored and encouraged under strict conditions." Under the current Information and Communications Network Act, it is considered illegal or harmful information to be distributed . If confirmed, site sanctions are possible,,, but during the 2018 Moon Jae-in administration, a national petition was submitted requesting the closure of Ilbe, and although the Blue House at the time considered the possibility, it did not actually lead to closure. President Lee   He said, "I will direct this review at the Cabinet meeting," and asked, "What do you think?" and shared an article on the post by Jo Soo-jin, director of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation for Living  in the World, covering a Facebook post she had posted the previous day. Director Cho said, "This is a serious matter reported after the memorial service for former President Roh Moo-hyun," and added, "Today, about 50 young people, presumed to be Ilbe, entered the Bongha Village Memorial Hall and, wearing Ilbe T-shirts, made symbolic finger gestures (see photo above) and took photos in various places." Director Jo said, "We cannot be dragged out with violence or reported to the police as a crime, so I am deeply sorry to all the citizens gathered in Bongha for this," and insisted, "Could there be a law to punish hate speech?"
