Iran's semi-state Mehr News Agency stated in an editorial titled 'A Strategic Review of Korea's Actions During the Iran War' on the 29th of last month, "Unlike some of America's Western allies in this crisis, Korea did not limit itself to expressing political positions but implemented a series of practical measures and sent political signals." Mehr News cited examples of concrete actions taken by the Korean government after the Iran war, such as the provision of humanitarian aid to Iran through the International Committee of the Red Cross on the 14th of last month, and the dispatch of Foreign Minister Jeong Byung-ha as a special envoy to Iran. He emphasized, "This is important because South Korea is a strategic ally of the United States, but in this case, it has not remained just a political partner of the United States, but at least at the humanitarian level, it tried to distinguish between the Iranian people and the logic of military pressure." Additionally, Merch News Agency noted that, alongside the South Korean government's substantive actions, President Lee Jae-myung's official position is also noteworthy. He said, "President Lee urged 'brave steps toward peace' in response to the ongoing crisis and emphasized the need to ease tensions." Additionally, Mehr News Agency said, "From this perspective, Iran can create more stable communication channels with Korea by leveraging its dialogue capabilities on maritime security, energy, foreign consular support, and humanitarian aid through a planned approach." While the U.S. and Israel are locked in a war with Iran, while other countries remain silent and watch, South Korea has dispatched a special envoy to Iran!! They are asking for the release of Korean ships trapped in the Strait of Hormuz,,,, So the US and Israel negotiated with Iran and said that all ships passing through the strait were obviously just broken off, right!! Meanwhile, there is a fuss over Korea not being as obedient as before,,, and saying it's too arrogant,,, especially the Americans seem to be eager to do so!!! Is it okay to get too close??? Isn't Iran's news agency trying to sow discord between the US and Korea in the middle???????
