At a meeting related to the Global Fund Finance Meeting, a global cooperative body for funding the prevention and treatment of AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria, U.S. President Biden stated, "For every $2 billion the world provides, the U.S. will donate $1 billion," and ,,, Yoon Suk-yeol also announced in response, "Korea will contribute $100 million over three years," but that was an issue that required approval from both the U.S. and South Korea. According to MBC's caption, it meant, "If the U.S. Congress doesn't approve Biden's $1 billion donation, Biden will be embarrassed," and the presidential office at the time was busy trying to block this report.  However, during that UN visit, there was another incident that was not known to the public.
