According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 18th, starting from the weekend, cold winds will strengthen and temperatures will drop, making early next week the coldest weather of this autumn season. Inland areas like Seoul will see morning temperatures around 10 degrees on Sunday, and on Monday, the morning commute is expected to plunge to around 5 degrees, which is a phenomenon caused by the rapid expansion of cold continental high-pressure air from the winter onto the Korean Peninsula. In the mountainous areas of Gangwon, where strong cold air flows in from ,,, East Sea, the first frost or snow of the year is expected from early Monday morning. The Korea Meteorological Administration warned that intermittent rain will fall mainly in East Sea areas where easterly winds are coming in for the time being, while morning temperatures in the central-western region and inland Honam will plummet, leading to a colder-than-usual autumn season,   so people should take extra care of their health.
