Hospitality | Full-time | $80,000 + Super | Negotiable for promotion based on experience and capabilities | Over 3 years of relevant experience

Position Introduction

We are recruiting experienced staff to handle bookkeeping and accounting management across our hospitality business, financial statement preparation, management accounting, budget and performance analysis, and business planning tasks. This role goes beyond simple accounting data entry to analyze business performance based on accurate accounting books and financial statements, supporting management decision-making.

Main Duties

  • Bookkeeping, General Ledger, and management of accounting data such as sales, purchases, and expenses
  • Management of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable and Inspection of Related Materials
  • Month-end closing, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other closing processing and year-end closing support
  • Preparation and review of financial statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and management reporting materials
  • Budget, Forecast, and Cash Flow Planning Establishment and Management
  • Actual vs Budget Variance Analysis and Key Causes of Differences
  • Analysis of sales, costs, labor expenses, expenses, and profitability by store/business and KPI management
  • Proposing operational improvements, cost reductions, and profitability enhancements based on business performance
  • Basic profitability analysis related to new businesses/stores, support for business plans and management decision-making materials

Eligibility

  • Degree holders in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Over 3 years of experience in accounting, Financial Accounting, or Management Accounting
  • Experience in bookkeeping, reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial statements
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial/management analysis tasks
  • Excel proficiency, analytical skills, and communication skills with management
  • Ability to manage work priorities and perform tasks independently
  • Accounting experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail industries, and CPA/CA-related experience preferred.

Working conditions

  • $80,000 + Superannuation (negotiable after interview based on experience and capabilities)
