Join Our Team as a Massage Therapist at In The Brick Spa & Hotel (St Kilda)

Shifts: Full day Sundays + couple massage support (Thursday & Friday)

Schedule: Ongoing regular Sunday shift; additional Thu/Fri shifts as needed

Training: Provided (brand standards & treatment protocols)

Suitable for: Qualified therapists seeking stable weekly work + extra bookings

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable massage therapist to join our boutique spa & hotel team in St Kilda. At In The Brick Spa & Hotel, guest experience and professionalism are core values. This role is essential in delivering high-quality treatments, maintaining strong hygiene standards, and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Hygiene, Setup & Presentation

Prepare treatment rooms (set up, sanitation, and reset between guests)

Maintain excellent personal presentation and professional conduct

Uphold strict hygiene and cleaning standards across the spa environment

Team Support & Operations

Coordinate with reception and other therapists to ensure smooth scheduling

Support general spa operations where needed (e.g., laundry, restocking)

On quieter days, assist with light hotel operational support when required (e.g., room preparation)

Availability (Important)

Available to work full day on Saturday or Sundays (essential)

Available to assist with couple massage bookings on Thursday and Friday (essential)

Evening / weekend flexibility is a plus

Requirements

Massage qualification and relevant certification (required)

Minimum 3 years massage therapy experience preferred

Confident delivering Hot Stone, Remedial / Deep Tissue, and Pregnancy Massage (preferred)

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Strong communication skills and a calm, guest-focused attitude

Able to work independently and as part of a small team
